Merry Christmas to all! Throwback on 25 December 2020, children in Peace Children Care Centre gathered and celebrated Christmas with all the friends and committees of PCCC, PKAPP and PNM. We would like to express our gratitude to all the friends who attended including The Star, your kindness made this Christmas celebration more meaningful!

CPFWP 2nd Chinese World Assembly Kick Off Ceremony

📌Penang, Hotel Royal Penang
The 2nd World Chinese Assembly Kick Off Ceremony was held at Hotel Royal Penang, Malaysia. 50 attendees who strictly adhered to the SOPs at the hotel, together with about 500 guests worldwide, participated through online ZOOM meeting.
With the theme “The Values of Chinese Traditional Culture in Changing Times”, we aim to promote the vision of world peace based on the traditional Chinese cultural concept of “Respect for Heaven, Humanity and Harmony in Family”. The Assembly invited outstanding Chinese representatives and Chinese culture lovers from all over the world from all walks of life. YB Soon Lip Chee, Penang State EXCO for Youth and Sports representing Penang Chief Minister, Dato’ Law Choo Kiang, Speaker of Penang State Legislative Assembly, Emeritus Mayor Le Lam, former mayor of Auburn City Council in Australia and Hon. Eddie Ng Hak Kim, Former Secretary for Education, Hong Kong SAR, delivered speeches.
YB Soon Lip Chee, in his opening remarks, saying no matter what, the Chinese should retain, develop and inherit the great traditional culture. YB Dato’ Law Choo Kiang also said that although the global situation of the pandemic is severe, he is gratified that everyone can still work tirelessly together to establish world peace. The kick-off ceremony ended perfectly with the reports on the activities in various countries.
We would like to express our gratitude to YB Soon Lip Chee, YB Dato’ Law Choo Kiang, all the honorary chairmen, and members of the board of advisors that made this meaningful assembly possible. Everyone was inspired and looking forward to the further development of PNM activities can bring positive influence to society.

Deepavali Celebration at PCCC

📌Peace Children Care Centre (PCCC)
DRESSED in spanking new traditional clothes, 13 children from Peace Children Care Centre were all smiles and laughter as they played with fireworks during their Deepavali celebration.
The event also saw the children enjoying a sumptuous dinner.
This was followed by some songs and dances put up by the children for centre staff members, caretakers and board members.
Later, the board members also entertained the children with a traditional dance performance.
PCCC chairman Mr. Alagesan Ayaru said that due to the conditional movement control order (CMCO), they decided to hold a rather low-key celebration for the children this year.“At the same time, we wanted them to enjoy the true meaning of the festival and have new clothes and good food to mark the auspicious day, ” he said.
Before the event ended, the children were each presented with angpow packets.
Present at the celebration were PCCC vice chairman Mr. Nick Ng Shu Lin, treasurer Ms. Yeam Chiew Na and board members Ms. Wendy Koay and Mr. Sailesh Maganlal Timbadia.

39 years ago, September 21st was declared a day of non-violence and cease-fire between all nations and peoples by the United Nations. In the spirit of peace, here at PCCC we perpetuate values that encourage non-violence and educate the children in a way that allows them to express themselves in kind and ethical ways. In this way, they are able to shape peace together as the future generation and always act with love and kindness first.

PNM Board of Advisors Gathering

PNM celebrated the 1st Anniversary with a warmest gathering, following the new norms, with our beloved Board of Adviser (BOA) and committee members.
The Secretary updated the activities and events which carried out in the past one year. The President proposed the future plans and welcomed more people to join PNM as well. At the end of the gathering, PNM officially presented the Certificate of Appointment to the BOA. Everyone was joyful and grateful to the efforts done by PNM committee members and looking forward for the future development of PNM.

Soft Launching of Peace Children Care Centre (PCCC)

📌Peace Children Care Centre
Peace Children Care Centre (PCCC) has been initiated by Persatuan Kebajikan Asas Pulau Pinang (PKAPP) alongside the strategic partner Pertubuhan Nilai-Nilai Murni untuk Keamanan Sejagat (PNM). It is successfully launched in July 2020 through the hardwork and dedication of the committee members. With the great continuous support from donors and volunteers, PCCC is now accommodated with 12 underprivileged children from the age of 4 to 12 years old.
Peace Children Care Centre (PCCC) aims to provide care and guidance to children in need who come from various backgrounds. PCCC is opened to children of all races and is supervised by trained caregivers. A cozy environment where the children will feel safe, nurtured and cared for provided .
Vision: A home for the children of today to make a better tomorrow.
Mission: For the Home and community to serve and educate the children by providing a safe sanctuary and complete support to instil the values of self-reliance, camaraderie and to empower them to improve the quality of their lives.

Circle of Light Project- Food Supply and Groceries Distribution

PNM in collaboration with UPF, PKAPP and Penang Government carried out a community service – Circle of Light Projects to supply grocery packs and food to the needy, elderly and special needs during Covid- 19 pandemic.
At the same time, PNM had been handling the donation of 300 sets of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to Hospital Duchess of Kent, Sabah as humanitarian aid during Covid-19.

World Summit 2020 at Seoul Korea

From March to May 2020, PNM extended invitation to PNM Board of Advisors- Mr. Alagesan Ayaru and Dato' R Sethupandian to UPF World Summit 2020 in Korea. Mdm Ratanamala Thannimalay, Mr Ding and Mr Joe joined the Summit together too.

Official Launching of Penang Seniors Digital Resource Centre (PSDRC)

📌Penang Seniors Digital Resource Centre (PSDRC)
Pertubuhan Nilai-Nilai Murni Untuk Keamanan Sejagat as a strategic partner of Rose Charities Malaysia had set up this community centre with facilities and amenities for elderly citizens in December 2020 at 21A, Codrington Avenue, 10350 Pulau Tikus, Pulau Pinang.
PSDRC provides space as a One-Stop centre for senior communities to carry out various activities such as digital class, cooking class, karaoke, reading room, mahjong, dentist and doctor visit, convenient store and other.
