Light it up Gold for Little Warriors – Dance For Hope

Light it up Gold was founded by Ms Traccie Chan, Mrs Global United Lifetime Queen (USA), Queen for Kids since 2016 to promote childhood cancer awareness annually as well as to support the “little warriors” and their families. This year, it is jointly organised by Dare2Dream Management, Pertubuhan Nilai-Nilai Murni Untuk Keamanan Sejagat (PNM) and Queen for kids from Malaysia Global United Pageant.
Led by Ms Traccie Chan, the organising committee together with supporting partners – JCI Pearl, JCI Bayan, Peace Children Care Centre, Dream Makers and sponsors had managed to raise RM18,000 for the little warriors who are battling cancer.Throughout September, various programs such as Light it up Gold Ambassadors Program, Order Meal and Give Hope, Dance for Hope, I am Little Warriors Goodie Bag and Donation for Little Warriors Project are carried out simultaneously.
“Light it up Gold for Little Warriors – Dance for Hope” online event was organised on 26th September successfully, There were around 350 participants joining through Zoom and live streaming. Moreover, the Queens for kids from Malaysia Global United Pageant and their friends were passionately coaching the LIVE participants with exciting fitness dance moves during Dance for Hope session which aims to bring positivity, love and support to cancer children and families.
Furthermore, the public is encouraged to constantly support the fundraising effort to lend a helping hand, priority to the cancer children from Penang General Hospital. Mr Nick Ng Shu Lin, the President of PNM took this opportunity to offer sincere help to the needy especially during this Covid-19 pandemic period in terms of education or finances. International Day of Peace 2021: Recovering Better for an Equitable and Sustainable World

In the conjunction of International Day of Peace 2021 which falls on 21st of September, Persatuan Kebajikan Asas Pulau Pinang (PKAPP) together with Co-organisers UPF Penang Chapter, Pertubuhan Nilai-nilai Murni Keamanan Sejagat (PNM) and Penang Hindu Endowment Board (PHEB) took the opportunity to make this day even merrier in the amid of pandemic.
The International day of peace was held in Peace Children Care Centre (PCCC) and was officiated by Dato Seri Dr Anwar Fazal, Think City Chairman, The Harmony Corporation (Harmonica) Board of Director and was chair by Alagesan Ayaru Chairman of Peace Children Care Centre (PCCC). The opening of the International Day of Peace was attended by PKAPP/PCCC Board of Advisors – (Dato M Ramachandran, Prof Dato Dr GP Doraisamy, Dato Peter SH Cheah), Management Committee of PKAPP/PCCC/ PNM and also the community Leaders.
This year, the theme of the day is “Recovering better for an Equitable and Sustainable world”. The organisation has urged everyone to help and care for each other to recover better in this amid Pandemic. The organisation has also reminded everyone to give a helping hand to those who are in need of help regardless of religion and gender. PCCC Chairman Alagesan Ayaru also reminded and urged everyone to always follow the principle of “Love for All, Hatred for None, Embrace Peace, Live Harmony and always Value Humanity”.
Alagesan Ayaru would love to express his gratitude to the supporting partners who are the World Humanitarian Drive (WHD), MHM Penang State, HYO Penang State, Penang Hindu Association (PHA), MHS Batu Kawan Local Council, Warisan, Perumi, Pelita, Ahmadiyyah and PKKM in making The International Day of Peace 2021 a success.

Looking at the lovely and cute kids from Peace Children Care Centre (PCCC), their performance of a significant Mooncake Festival Chinese song ‘Yue Liang Yuan’ had shown a beautiful Chinese culture regardless races and religion.Sincere thanks to the great effort of Ms Wendy Koay, Pertubuhan Nilai-Nilai Murni Untuk Keamanan Sejagat-PNM Women Bureau Director and PCCC Board of Committee, in conducting a lantern making tutorial for PCCC children together with Ms. Diyana Lee and Ms. Jayanti Kandayah. The beautiful homemade mooncakes by Ms. Wendy and Ms. Diyana were PCCC kids' favourite.Mid-Autumn Festival is a symbolic of Reunion. Wish everyone stay healthy, stay safe, stay happy and stay reunion. -

AGM symbolises a kick-off for PNM in the year of 2021! Despite COVID-19 pandemic, it is indeed grateful that our committed PNM members still make time to attend the 2nd AGM via Zoom meeting.
The new line up of committee members has been formed and some committee has been appointed to take the role of leadership in some specific fields such as Women Bureau, Corporate Social Responsibilities and Corporate Relation. Empowering Women on Entrepreneurship Seminar took place at The Penang Harmony Centre from 9:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m. The seminar was organised by Persatuan Kebajikan Asas Pulau Pinang (PKAPP), alliance with Pertubuhan Nilai-Nilai Murni Untuk Keamanan Sejagat (PNM). The purpose of this seminar is to encourage women to take an adventure in entrepreneurship and have motivation through successful stories share by the invited speakers. With that, the participants can also learn the basics of entrepreneurship and explore ways on how to start their own enterprise.
The ceremony began with the organising chairperson, Ms. Jayanti Kandayah’s welcoming speech. The Guest of Honour, the Penang State EXCO of Social Development and Non-Islamic Affairs, YB Chong Eng were invited to launched the event accompanied by the organising chairperson, Ms. Jayanti Kandayah, founder and president of Persatuan Kebajikan Asas Pulau Pinang (PKAPP), Mr. Alagesan Ayaru, President of Pertubuhan Nilai-Nilai Murni Untuk Keamanan Sejagat (PNM), Mr. Nick Ng Shu Lin and CEO of Penang Women’s Development Corporation (PWDC), Ms. Ong Bee Ling. A photo session took place with all participants and YB Chong Eng with the sign of the IWD theme in 2021 #Choose to Challenge.
There were nearly fifty participants which majority are women attended the program. Aside from this, a few important speakers such as Ms. Boonsiri Somchit, Dato’ Dr. Florence Sinniah, Ms. Leong Shir Mein, Dr. Jauriyah Binti Shamsuddin, SME Coporation Malaysia, Veecotech Ecommerce, UOB Bank came all over from different individuals states to share their inspirational stories and experience in entrepreneurship to the participants.To acknowledge the participation of the participants, we invited YB. Dato’ Hj Abdul Halim Hussain, EXCO for Trade, Industry and Entrepreneur Development to distribute the certificates to the participants after his closing remarks. At the end of the seminar, there were booths visiting section for participants which includes Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM), bank and e-commerce.

With theme of “Peace and Reunification of the Korean Peninsula – Chinese Perspectives”, Universal Peace Federation (UPF) and the Chinese People’s Federation for World Peace (CPFWP) cosponsored a special online webinar. The webinar is part of UPF’s Northeast Asia Peace Initiative, which brings together leading experts from a wide range of professional fields including government, academia, and civil society, to employ a “soft power” approach in exploring the prospects for improved relations between the two Koreas. The main goal of this initiative is to contribute to the peaceful reunification of the Korean Peninsula.
With over 500 participants from 25 countries joined the webinar together.
