The Governor of Penang, TYT Tun, proudly completed the 2.7KM run, joined by YB Kumaresan, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Aileen Tan Shau Hwai, Prof. Dato’ Log. Ts Chang Kah Loon, Mr. Nick Ng Shu Lin PJK, and other distinguished dignitaries. Alongside them were participants who took on the inspiring 5KM route with enthusiasm and determination.
We are immensely grateful for the support of Universiti Sains Malaysia and Parliament Bayan Baru. Our heartfelt thanks also go to the strategic partners, Penang Chinese Entrepreneurs Association, represented by Vice President Mr. Lim Chee Woei; Filial Piety Cultural Foundation, represented by Mr. Louis Tai; and CPFWP Malaysia, represented by Madam Yee An Nie , for their unwavering dedication to our cause. This event went beyond promoting fitness; it was a celebration of unity, kindness, and community spirit, embodied in our slogan, “Love Family, Love Penang, Love Our Country.” Aligned with the 2024 theme, “KASIH Keluarga Jiwa MADANI,” RUN FOR LOVE 2024 highlighted the importance of family love, reaching out to USM students as well as primary and secondary school children.
Finally, we extend our sincerest thanks to the remarkable generosity of our sponsors, which allowed over 300 children from underprivileged and differently-abled backgrounds to join us. Their presence filled the day with joy, inspiration, and purpose.
